Electric Sheep Collective, the new project led by Angelo Olivieri, debuts on October 15th 2021 with the single This is for Fela. The song was born from the meeting with the Nigerian singer Joe Nize, author of the lyrics and voice of the collective, and from his urgency to tell the story with his own eyes, his aspirations, hopes, political struggle and the awareness that dignity is perpetrated thanks to those who have fought for it before us. An explicit tribute to Fela Kuti, who on this date would have turned 83, undoubtedly one of the most influential personalities of the world's music scene of the last century and, together with the electric Davis, Pharoah Sanders, J Dilla, Umar Bin Hassan, among the references of Electric Sheep Collective.
